What Information does Velo Reality Collect?
The type of information that we collect and retain depends upon your interaction with Velo Reality. Here is a short overview of the main types of interactions.

Information You Give Us.
We collect the personally identifiable information you provide to us:
Create a user account, place an order, register a product (information we collect is necessary to complete the account registration and transaction and so that we can ensure you Velo Reality products and services):
Username (unique identification)
Password (security purpose)
E-Mail address (basic communication)
User Weight (to be able to control the indoor trainer)
User Height (to be able to control the indoor trainer)
Date Of Birth (to be able to calculate a default power / heart rate zones, FTP)
Language
Country (Tax calculation, Limitation for payment gateways based on the country)

Requesting product support or other services (information we collect is necessary to, provide support and to respond to queries such as your name and address and information about your computer hardware, software (including your License Number), and the nature of the problem you are experiencing).
Participate in surveys (information we collect may include demographic information such as age, gender and number of household members).
You have the final decision on whether to proceed with any activity that requests personal information. However, if you do not wish to provide information needed for a transaction, you may not be able to complete it.

You have an option to share your information with sites like Strava and others to track your training and riding if you wish to do so.
Velo Reality does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age. The Services may not be used by children under the age of 13 without a parent’s express written consent.

Technical information.
Generally, you may visit our website(s) without identifying yourself. However, certain technical information may be collected as a part of your use of our Services. Such information includes but not limited to: your IP-address, the website you linked from, access times, pages you visit, the links you use, the content you viewed, information about your devices and other such technical information your browser provides us with or as may be otherwise collected in connection with certain products and services. In addition we use Google Analytics as a method of tracking site statistics and user behavior on the Site.

Payment information.
To process your payments we use Payment Card Industry certified third-party payment services. When you make a payment through our payment page, we may collect information from you to properly process your payment. This personal information may include your name, address, phone, email address, your credit card information and payment amount. When you initially provide or update your payment information, we transmit it via an encrypted connection directly to them so they process your payment information in accordance with their own Privacy Policy. We don’t store your payment information.

Public information
If the option is available to you to identify any of your Information as public, and you make a choice to identify it as public – you are authorizing us to share such information publicly, which means you have elected to make certain possibly Shared Information publicly available. Also, there may be public areas of the Services such as message boards, online forums, leaderboards, etc. in which you are able to post information or appear in, that will be publicly available. By choosing to use these areas, you understand and agree that anyone may access any information in those areas.
Please note that if you chose to use an option of uploading your rides (with all statistics attached to it) to Strava or any other similar networks this information will have permission rights from your profile on this particular provider and will become a subject of this provider’s terms and privacy policy.

Velo Reality collects your personal data mainly for the purposes described below:
– If we need to fulfill your requests or making sure that the order processed correctly
– If we need to enforce the contract between you and Velo Reality
– If we need to ensure the functionality and security of our products and services

– For development of better products and services. We may also use your personal data to personalize our offering and to provide you with service more relevant to you.
– For communicating with you for marketing purposes to information regarding our products and/or services or for customer satisfaction surveys. We also may display targeted in-app advertising to you.

The personal information we collect is generally used to process your requests and transactions, to provide you with high quality service, to tell you about opportunities we think will be of interest to you, to customize your Velo Reality experience and to understand your needs so that we may provide you with the most suitable products and services. Send newsletters, informative e-mails or other information which has the nature of business announcements. Velo Reality reserves the right to use customers’ contact information to send them information it deems important for the full utilization of its products and services. Every registered customer may choose not to receive such information by simply replying to any message to that effect and writing the word “unsubscribe” in the subject line (with the exception of messages which are necessary for the functionality of our products and services);
Create content that is relevant to you;
Provide you with special offers that may be of interest to you;
Assist us in creating better, customized products and services to meet your needs;

Examples include providers who fulfill orders, ship products, process transactions (including credit card transactions), distribute e-mails, conduct research or statistical analysis or provide other marketing assistance. You have the right not to provide the requested information, but in such case you may not be able to receive these services. Rectify, Restrict, Limit, Delete
You can delete much of your information by logging into your account. If you are unable to do this, please contact us at https://veloreality.com/contact/. Velo Reality will generally respond to your request within 1-2 business days.

Complain
