Col du Galibier – South Side

You climb, and then you climb some more, up steep grades. Your approach, from the south east, is on the Briançon side of the Lautaret mountain pass. Autumn colours abound, and fresh snow marks the approach of winter. You finish just south of Valloire, at a stop used as a feed station in the Marmotte cyclosportive event.
