Part 2 of the Route des Grandes Alpes (Great Alpine Road), the ultimate cycling dream. From the village of Pierlas you continue to climb to Col De La Sinne, a mountain pass at an elevation of 1438m. The road gets steeper with grades reaching 12% and then descends into the beautiful valley of La Tinee River. The road to Col De La Sinne has made it into a famous list of dangerous roads.
