Leaving Tongue you head steadily up a mountain pass (600ft) towards Loch Hope in the next valley at the summit you will stop briefly at the view point for Ben Hope, a most majestic mountain rising out of a peat bog. The route meanders round the shores of Loch Eeriboll towards Ellean Choraidh an Island in the bay
